Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival Switch Release Date Announced

During the February 2022 Nintendo Direct, Bandai Namco announced Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival would head to the Nintendo Switch. Now there’s a release date for it. People will be able to get it on September 23, 2022. Bandai Namco also confirmed physical copies via opening pre-orders. People can also pre-order a drum peripheral to go with it.

First, here’s the new trailer for Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival. It is brief and goes over features. There will be 76 included songs. People can play alone, online against others, or take part in party games alone or with others. A campaign of sorts will be present. In it, characters like Don and Katsu will meet Kumo-kyun the cloud. It will support the Taiko Music Pass too, which allows someone to pay a fee to access a library of 500 songs. It ends with the release date.

As for the game, it will cost $39.99 for a physical copy. The drum controller, which gives people a drum and two sticks, will be $69.99. If people go through Bandai Namco, they can only order two copies of each.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will come to the Nintendo Switch on September 23, 2022. The Hori drum controller will be available that same day.
